Mug Shot

Today we went and got Silas' passport photos taken. There are so many rules about the colour of shirt, the size and placement of the head, etc... but apparently a bit of drool is perfectly ok! Although you can sort of tell that I have my hand up his shirt holing him upright, he looks so accomplished holding himslef up :)
The place we got them done guarantees their photos, so if it get regected by Passports Canada on an obscure anti-drool clause we get free retakes until it's right. Tomorrow I'm going to call ahead to make sure I have all of the documents required and properly filled out; then Friday I'm gearing up for a long time standing in line. I'm pretty excited to have some official photo ID - corney eh? Would you let this boy into your country...?
