Colour Schemes
Also on Saturday, I took this picture of the mostly completed siding. The exterior colour scheme is

Wow! The house looks great! I really like the arch between the living and dlining rooms. It looks like your living room will get a lot of sunlight (I forget, what direction does the house face?) The external colors are great, too -- neutral colors blend in with plant material well, and the blue is a nice accent.
Don't feel bad about snooping! Otherwise, you'll never know if the electrician gets all the plugs in the right place, or if the heat registers are located properly, until it's too late. In our house, the subcontractor tried to put a heat register on the floor right in front of the front door!
Best of luck in this exciting project!
Love,
Aunt Julie
