I have a cute pic to post and will try to type a quick summary of things Silas.
Here he is as we got back to the truck from our Christmas tree hunting expedition (the snow suit is a little big, but it keeps his hands warm since they don't quite reach the ends of the sleeves).
For 5$ Alberta Sustainable Resources will sell you a permit to cut down 3 christmas trees from crown land. You are almost guaranteed a scrawny, lopsided tree (as forest trees grow up and not all bushy like in a well spaced tree farm), but I think they are that much prettier. Yesterday was a great snowstorm day, but warm and not too windy in the trees. After about an hour and a half of wandering around in the woods we found the 'best' one, made our way back to the skidoo track and hauled it back to the truck. Silas was a trooper but I'm sure he thought we were crazy, just wandering around in the woods shaking the snow off mid-sized pine trees!
Other things that have happened this month include: two bottom front teeth (Nov 14/15), I broke my toe (Nov 16), and we are starting on a 3x weekly 30 min stint at a day care to get him used to me leaving. He is getting more and more clingy as the separation anxiety hits and my various injuries have not helped as we have been spending days at home alone together. I'm getting a little tired of the screaming...
